Ode to Arch

As part of our 30th celebrations we honoured the Archbishop Desmond Tutu, by launching the “Ode to Arch” campaign.

This campaign asked South African’s to share their thoughts about the Arch and how he has inspired their lives by sending their views through our social media and website platforms. We collected these insights in a beautifully design and specially published book that was presented to the Arch.

BNSDP Essay Competition

We involved our Beyers Naudé Schools Development Programme learners from our schools in the Thabo Mofutsanyana district in the Free State by launching an essay competition. Learners were encouraged to share their essays on “What makes an innovative teacher?” and took to the challenge by submitting hundreds of entries.

Three learners won the competition and each walked away with an iPad.
